The Response – GSK partnered with Stratum Security to stand up a managed application security testing team that engaged internal customers as if they were GSK staff. GSK management still owned overall oversight and escalations for the service, but were freed up from performing day to testing.

The Results – The large backlog was quickly whittled down and after multiple years of running the service, Stratum has been able to meet surges in testing needs while still delivering quality work products within SLA and based on GSK’s risk appetite.
